Privacy Statement

Last updated 2026-03-22

1. Scope

This Privacy Statement covers personal data processed when you browse brain-base.one, submit forms, register for events, or download resources. It applies to visitors located in the Republic of Korea and international visitors accessing our Korean-operated site. Enterprise clients may have additional data processing agreements that supersede general descriptions where explicitly stated.

2. Rights

Under Korean personal information protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, and suspension of processing in prescribed cases. We verify requests to prevent fraudulent changes. Some rights may be limited when we must retain records for legitimate business purposes such as invoicing or dispute handling. We respond within statutory timelines and explain any denials with reasons.

3. Third parties

We use infrastructure and email providers who act as processors. They access data only under contract and may not reuse it for independent marketing. If we introduce new subprocessors for event logistics, we will update this statement and, where required, notify affected individuals.

4. Retention

Contact form submissions are retained long enough to complete the conversation and any follow-on engagement, typically up to twenty-four months unless a longer period is required for active projects. Analytics logs are aggregated and rotated on a ninety-day cycle. Legal holds may extend retention when disputes arise.

5. Data collected

We collect identifiers such as name, email, company, and message content when you contact us. Event registration may collect dietary or accessibility preferences strictly to host the session. Technical logs include IP address, user agent, and timestamps for security monitoring. We avoid collecting sensitive categories unless you voluntarily supply them and we document necessity.

6. Use of data

Data is used to respond to inquiries, operate events, improve site reliability, and meet quality standards obligations. We do not sell personal data. Marketing emails are sent only with consent or existing customer soft opt-in where permitted. You may withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

7. Contact

Contact welcome@brain-base.one for privacy requests. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may escalate to the Korea Internet & Security Agency or other competent supervisory channels as applicable law allows.

8. International transfers

If we host data outside Korea, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or vendor certifications. This section will list destinations and mechanisms when applicable. Current primary processing occurs within Korea for contact and event operations unless a client engagement specifies otherwise in writing.
